The Acadian Railway Company offers rail tours of the Northeastern United States and Canada. Several tour routes are possible in the summer and fall seasons, which depart from New York, Boston, Portland, Halifax and Montréal. Additional tours are available during the "Autum Leaf Season" when the foliage in these areas is especially beautiful. The Acadian train has been restored to conform to twenty-first century standards, while retaining the art deco style from the 1940's and 1950's. The train includes an observation car, a dining car and a lounge. All meals and snacks are provided on the train by the Acadian's professional and accommodating staff. The trains of Amtrak and Via Rail Canada are also used for Acadian's tours.
