The Ruggles House, built in 1818 for Judge Thomas Ruggles, is an impressive example of Adamesque-style architecture. Inhabited by the Ruggles family until 1920, the restored home features much of the family's original furniture as well as a number of period pieces.
Located approximately 8 mi (13 km) east of Columbia Falls on Route 1, the Hannah Weston Grave Site is situated at the top of Weston Hill in the town of Jonesboro. The site commemorates Weston who, with her sister, carried much-needed ammunition to the patriots during the Revolutionary War.
