    Fort Point State Historic Site

    		Fort Point State Historic Site is located about six miles south of Bucksport, ME. The remains of Fort Pownall can be seen in this park, and there are interpretive signs that inform visitors as to the historical significance of the area. Other activites include hiking, biking, fishing and canoeing.
