Kneisel Hall, a historic and acclaimed chamber music school, presents a 10-week summer concert series every June through August. The public performances are held on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons at the Franz Kneisel Concert Hall and feature world-renowned faculty from the school, as well as guest musicians.

A typical country fair is the event that takes place every labor day weekend at blue Hill in Maine. It draws thousands of visitors to enjoy the displays of farm animals including alpacas and llamas, draft horse and oxen pulling, arts, crafts and fresh locally grown produce. In addition live music, stunt drivers and fireworks are included.

Foliage, Food & Wine Festival

Every October, the community of Blue Hill hosts the Foliage, Food and Wine Festival, four days of wine dinners, lobster bakes, markets and food tastings. Its flagship event, A Taste of the Peninsula, is held on the final day of the festival and features live music and local artists with over 40 food vendors and wine purveyors.
